We are looking for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join an outstanding school team in Winnetka, IL. This full-time role offers an opportunity to make a significant difference in students’ lives by implementing behavior intervention strategies and supporting their social and academic growth. As an RBT, you will play an essential role in helping students with behavioral challenges achieve success. You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver direct ABA therapy, collect data, and contribute to creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA
Provide direct 1:1 and small group ABA therapy to students
Accurately track, record, and report behavioral data
Foster communication, self-regulation, and social interaction skills
Collaborate with classroom staff, special education teachers, and families to support students’ growth
Maintain a structured and supportive learning environment
Required:
RBT certification (or willingness to obtain it in Illinois)
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with students or individuals with developmental or behavioral needs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Adaptability and ability to manage responsibilities in a school setting
Preferred:
Background in special education, psychology, or ABA therapy
Experience using ABA tools for data collection (e.g., Catalyst, CentralReach)
Previous work experience in a school or clinical setting
