Position Overview

Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time, Extended School Year (ESY) assignment in Claremont, NH. This summer opportunity is ideal for professionals looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact in a school-based setting. There is potential for renewal on a year-to-year basis depending on program needs and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Services: Deliver occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Student Interaction: Work with a variety of student needs, helping improve motor skills, independence, and participation in school activities.

• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with special education teams and classroom staff to ensure consistent, effective support.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress and assist in data collection for IEPs and reports.

What We’re Looking For

• Certification: Active COTA license in New Hampshire.

• Experience: Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.

• Availability: Able to commit to the full ESY schedule (July 8–31, 2025).

• Attributes: Reliable, collaborative, and passionate about supporting students with diverse needs.
