School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Moore Haven, Florida

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida COTA license required
• Previous experience in school settings is strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to changing locations
• Strong collaboration skills with educators, therapists, and families
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Reliable transportation for travel across assigned school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to K12 students across various schools
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with supervising OTRs
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
• Support classroom staff by sharing strategies for student independence
• Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and ongoing professional development
• Travel regularly within the district to assigned locations
