Role Summary
As a COTA in Tampa, FL, you will assist Occupational Therapists in delivering high-quality therapy services to students with developmental, physical, and cognitive needs. You’ll work closely with educators and families to foster student growth and participation in school-based activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy plans.

• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills.

• Document student progress and report updates to the supervising OT.

• Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families.

• Contribute to the development of classroom strategies and accommodations.

Requirements (Florida)

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

• Florida state COTA license.

• Experience in a school setting preferred.

Employment Options

Local Contract

• Full-time, on-site in Tampa, FL.

• Hourly rate: Starting at $33/hour, increasing with experience.

Travel Contract

• Full-time, on-site in Tampa, FL.

• Competitive weekly take-home pay based on experience and location.
