Position Overview:

• Location: Wapato, WA and surrounding districts

• Position Type: Full-Time, School-Based

• Start Date: Immediate

• Contract Duration: Current school year (renewals based on performance.

Requirements – Must Meet the Following to Apply:

• Associate’s degree from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active Washington State licensure through the Washington Department of Health

• Current NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

• Ability to pass all school district background checks and clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Implement therapy plans that support IEP goals and student development

• Assist students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and student progress

• Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based treatment planning
