What You’ll Need to Qualify:
To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet all Missouri state and local certification requirements for school counseling, including:

• A valid Missouri School Counselor Certification issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)

• A completed background check as required by Missouri public schools

• A master’s degree in School Counseling or related field

• Prior experience working in a school setting is strongly preferred

Your Impact:
As a School Counselor, you will:

• Provide academic, emotional, and social support to students

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop personalized student plans

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions

• Support students through transitions, crises, and goal-setting
