Position: School Counselor
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full Time
Dates: August 20, 2025 – May 28, 2026
Caseload: 4th grade thru 12th
Pay: Competitive pay starting at $40/hr

 
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to provide support and guidance to elementary, middle, or high school students in Lewis Center, Ohio. The counselor will work closely with students, teachers, and families to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
 
Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and career counseling to early intervention students
• Assist students with college and career planning
• Offer social-emotional support, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Develop and implement student support programs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student success
• Maintain student records and ensure compliance with state and school guidelines

• Active School Counselor Certification/Licensure in Ohio
• Experience working with K-5 students preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
