A student-focused district in Lexington, Massachusetts is seeking a qualified School Counselor to provide maternity leave coverage during the Fall 2025 semester. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Location: Lexington, MA
Dates: August 18, 2025 – November 26, 2025 (subject to change based on school calendar and FMLA)
Schedule: Full-Time
Caseload: TBD – will be discussed during the interview
Hourly Rate: TBD (W-2)
Setting: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide school-based counseling services to students with varying needs

• Support students' emotional, behavioral, and social development

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams

• Maintain documentation and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Active DESE license (School Counselor, School Social Worker, or related certification)

• Professional licensure (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, etc.)

• Experience working with students with disabilities or on the autism spectrum preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
