A student-focused district in Lexington, Massachusetts is seeking a qualified School Counselor to provide maternity leave coverage during the Fall 2025 semester. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Location: Lexington, MA
Dates: August 18, 2025 – November 26, 2025 (subject to change based on school calendar and FMLA)
Schedule: Full-Time
Caseload: TBD – will be discussed during the interview
Hourly Rate: TBD (W-2)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide school-based counseling services to students with varying needs
Support students' emotional, behavioral, and social development
Collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams
Maintain documentation and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Active DESE license (School Counselor, School Social Worker, or related certification)
Professional licensure (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, etc.)
Experience working with students with disabilities or on the autism spectrum preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
