Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree from a regionally accredited college or university

• Eligibility for appropriate Virginia licensure or endorsement as required by the district

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, career, and social-emotional counseling to elementary students
• Evaluate student needs, set goals, and monitor progress to foster academic and personal growth
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff to maximize student achievement
• Facilitate and support referrals when needed to connect students and families with additional resources
• Maintain thorough, confidential student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
