Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist 

We are seeking a qualified and passionate DHH Specialist for a leave coverage assignment starting at the beginning of the 2025–2026 school year. This is an itinerant, onsite role supporting a diverse caseload of students from infant through age 22.

Position Details:

• Location: Rowland Heights, CA
• Start Date: August 11, 2025 – Mid/End of October (possible extension)

• Full-time, 35 hours per week

• Caseload: 35 students (Infant – 22 years old)

• Responsibilities include:

  • Direct services and consultations

  • IEP development and participation

  • Collaboration with team and support staff

• Program support provided

• Possible extension beyond October

Requirements:

• Valid CTC Education Specialist Instruction Credential with DHH Authorization

• Experience working across age ranges and service models (birth–22)

• Strong IEP, collaboration, and communication skills

• Previous itinerant and school-based experience preferred

Additional Info:

• Onsite only

• Itinerant across multiple sites (local travel may be required)
