Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a passionate and qualified Educational Diagnostician to serve students in the Albuquerque, NM area. This full-time role is ideal for professionals who are committed to identifying and addressing the unique educational needs of students through comprehensive assessments, collaboration, and specialized services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and academic assessments for referred students.

• Interpret and analyze evaluation data to determine eligibility for special education services in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, counselors, and special education staff to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Provide recommendations for instructional strategies and interventions based on assessment results.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, timelines, and documentation standards.

• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) or IEP meetings as needed.

• Maintain accurate records and timely evaluation reports.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or related field.

• Valid New Mexico Educational Diagnostician License or eligibility to obtain.

• Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and procedures.

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

• Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
