About the Role
Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and credentialed Educational Diagnostician for a school-based contract in Albuquerque, NM. This is a full-time role for the 2025–2026 school year serving students in a public K–12 setting. We are open to both local candidates and traveling contractors with state licensure in New Mexico.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative school team that values clinical expertise and quality evaluations to drive meaningful student support.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive academic and cognitive assessments

• Write detailed evaluation reports aligned with state and federal guidelines

• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings

• Collaborate with school teams, parents, and support staff

• Manage evaluation timelines and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid New Mexico Educational Diagnostician credential

• Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or related field

• Proficiency with evaluation tools such as the WISC, KTEA, and others

• Experience with IEP and special education eligibility processes

• Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
