Pay Range: $38–$50+/hour (based on experience and employment path)

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a licensed Educational Diagnostician to support a partnering school district in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This full-time opportunity is open to both local candidates seeking school-year placements and travel clinicians looking for flexible, high-compensation contracts.

Position Overview:
As an Educational Diagnostician, you’ll play a critical role in the special education team, working with K–12 students to assess and identify educational disabilities. You’ll conduct evaluations, interpret assessment results, collaborate in developing IEPs, and help create educational plans to support student success. Your contributions will help ensure students receive the necessary accommodations and services to thrive academically.

Employment Options:

Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):

• Consistent school-year placement (August–May)

• Weekly pay: $38–$45/hour, based on experience

• Full benefits package: health, dental, vision

• On-the-ground support from Blazer Jobs’ education services team

Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

• Flexible, short-term contracts (4–12 weeks or by semester)

• Weekly pay: $45–$50+/hour, depending on travel status, certification, and experience

• Weekly gross: $1,800–$2,400, including tax-free stipends (if qualified)

• Housing, meals/per diem, and travel reimbursements available

• Licensure support across states

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct educational evaluations and assessments for K–12 students

• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for eligibility determinations

• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop IEPs

• Provide consultation regarding educational strategies and accommodations

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of evaluations and student progress

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Educational Diagnostician or related field

• Active New Mexico Educational Diagnostician Certification (or eligibility)

• Prior school-based experience strongly preferred

• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
