Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

Blazer Jobs is working with a school district in Albuquerque, New Mexico to fill multiple openings for Educational Diagnosticians for the 2025–2026 school year. We are seeking experienced and licensed professionals who are passionate about supporting students with disabilities through proper evaluation and placement services.

Position Overview

• Location: Albuquerque, NM (onsite only)

• Schedule:

  • Full-Time: 32.5 hours/week 

  • Part-Time: 16 hours/week 

• Caseload: Must be flexible; caseloads may change throughout the school year

• Start/End Dates: Aligned with the 2025–2026 academic calendar

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Special Education or equivalent

• Valid New Mexico Educational Diagnostician License

• Minimum 5 years of experience providing services to individuals with disabilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations

• Coordinate and participate in IEP/MDT/ITP meetings

• Manage referrals and placements for Special Education services

• Consult and collaborate with school teams, staff, and parents

• Support the transition and planning process for students

• Provide technical assistance and training to school personnel

• Ensure evaluations and placements meet compliance standards

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines

• Conflict resolution and mediation skills

• Familiarity with district policies and the Unified Educational System

• Knowledge of special education law and best practices
