Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a certified and experienced
Educational Diagnostician to work full-time with schools in the
Corpus Christi, TX metro area for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a contract-based opportunity for professionals passionate about evaluating and supporting student learning needs through assessments and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for students referred for special education services
- Interpret data and write clear, actionable evaluation reports
- Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and collaborate on IEP development
- Serve as a resource to educators and parents regarding student learning profiles
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet evaluation timelines
Requirements:
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or related field
- Must have TExES Education Diagnostician Certification
- Knowledge of ARD/IEP processes and Texas Education Code
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Prior school-based experience of 5 years preferred
