Educational Diagnostician Career Opportunity

Blazer Jobs is now hiring a certified Educational Diagnostician for a full-time, school-based role in Houston, TX. This opportunity offers a starting pay of $45/hr, with compensation based on your background and experience.

Serving students in the Houston area, this role will support special education assessments, eligibility determination, and ARD/IEP processes for the 2025–2026 school year.

Responsibilities Include:

• Administer formal assessments and interpret results

• Collaborate with ARD committees to support student placement and services

• Complete accurate, timely reports and documentation

Texas Requirements:

• Texas Educational Diagnostician certification

• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Strong knowledge of ARD process and TEA compliance

Federal Requirements:

• Must comply with IDEA and FERPA guidelines

• Federal IEP documentation standards must be met
