Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Mansfield, Texas

Step into a vital role supporting student success as an Educational Diagnostician working with middle school caseloads, with potential to assist high school students as well. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs through June 2027 and offers the chance to collaborate closely with educators, students, and families to ensure every learner receives the support and interventions they need.

Youll oversee 100120 students, managing evaluations and re-evaluations to help guide educational strategies. This is an ideal position for those who thrive in dynamic school environments, navigating both individual and group needs while staying current with best practices and state guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Educator Certificate required
• Masters degree from an accredited institution
• Educational Diagnostician certification issued by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC)
• At least three years of verifiable classroom teaching experience
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and re-evaluations for students, ensuring accurate identification and educational recommendations
• Develop and interpret educational assessments in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for each student served
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers to develop effective individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Consult on appropriate instructional modifications, accommodations, and strategies
• Participate in ARD meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary problem-solving teams
