We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Educational Diagnostician to join a school team in New Orleans, LA for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, on-site role serving a K–12 caseload, focused on conducting assessments and supporting the development of effective educational programs for students with exceptional needs.
Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
Interpret assessment data and write formal diagnostic reports
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist in developing appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student learning and accommodations
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
Provide consultation on instructional strategies, academic interventions, and progress monitoring
Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or a related field
Active Louisiana Educational Diagnostician Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
Extensive knowledge of evaluation instruments, IDEA regulations, and special education processes
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Previous experience conducting assessments in a school setting preferred
Starting hourly rate: $50 (commensurate with experience)
