Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Educational Diagnostician to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year in New Orleans, LA. This school-based position serves students across K–12 grade levels and focuses on evaluating students to determine eligibility for special education services, as well as supporting the development of appropriate educational plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
• Interpret and analyze assessment results to determine students' eligibility for special education services
• Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and related service providers to develop appropriate educational programming
• Prepare detailed, legally compliant evaluation reports and documentation
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and assist in goal development and instructional recommendations
• Monitor student progress and provide input on continued eligibility and services as needed

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or a related field
• Valid Louisiana Educational Diagnostician certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• In-depth knowledge of special education laws and assessment procedures
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a K–12 school setting preferred

Contract Details:

• Full-time or part-time options available
• 2025–2026 school year
• Hourly pay: $48–$53 based on experience
