About the Role

As a Travel Educational Diagnostician in New Orleans, LA, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments (LD, ID, OHI, etc.)
• Interpret and report evaluation results to parents, educators, and other stakeholders
• Participate in ARD meetings and help determine appropriate eligibility and placement
• Assist in the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state timelines
• Work with K–12 students across a diverse school community

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, or related field
• Active or eligible Educational Diagnostician certification in Louisiana (or open to reciprocity)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong skills in evaluation, reporting, collaboration, and time management
• Open to applicants from Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, or nearby states
