Blazer Works is partnering with a well-respected school district in Atlanta, Georgia, to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Educational Diagnostician for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a supportive team, conducting evaluations and ensuring that students receive the services they need to succeed.

This role may be renewed based on performance and district needs, making it an excellent fit for professionals passionate about helping students thrive through targeted assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services.

  • Analyze assessment results to assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and progress.

  • Provide diagnostic insight and support for students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other exceptionalities.

  • Maintain current knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Assessment, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Valid Georgia Educational Diagnostician certification or equivalent license.

  • Strong understanding of special education policies, procedures, and assessment techniques.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
