Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Elementary (General Education) Teacher
• Previous experience in a general education classroom preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• The ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to various learning abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative, standards-based instruction in a 2nd grade setting
• Foster a safe, engaging, and positive classroom culture
• Develop and implement lesson plans to support academic growth
• Use assessment data to drive instruction and measure student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance the educational experience
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities
