Job Description:

BlazerJobs is excited to partner with a New Orleans-based school to hire a General Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons for students. This role requires the ability to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students while fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

As a General Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire young minds, encourage academic growth, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive school culture. You will be expected to implement the school's curriculum, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues and families to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district standards

• Foster a classroom environment that is inclusive, supportive, and conducive to learning

• Differentiate instruction to accommodate the varying learning needs of students

• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback

• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress

• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create a cohesive learning experience

• Participate in professional development and school events as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

• Valid Louisiana Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain one)

• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for education and dedication to student success

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Familiarity with educational technology and tools is a plus
