What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging, standards-based science instruction in areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, or other core subjects

• Create lesson plans, labs, and assessments tailored to student needs

• Promote inquiry-based learning and hands-on exploration in the classroom

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

• Collaborate with staff and participate in IEPs when applicable

• Foster a focused, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What You’ll Need

• A valid Louisiana teaching certificate with a high school science endorsement

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field

• Previous experience in a high school setting preferred

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and fingerprint clearance
