What You’ll Be Doing

As a high school math teacher in Harvey, LA, you’ll deliver standards-aligned instruction in subjects such as Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, or other advanced mathematics courses. You will help students develop critical thinking skills, build confidence in quantitative reasoning, and connect mathematical concepts to real-world applications. Through engaging lessons and supportive classroom practices, you’ll prepare students for academic success and postsecondary opportunities.

Qualifications and Licensure

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a valid Louisiana teaching license with a high school math endorsement. Experience teaching in grades 9–12 is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates are dynamic, student-centered educators with a passion for math instruction and a commitment to equity in education.
