As a Science Teacher, you will ignite curiosity and cultivate scientific thinking through engaging instruction and hands-on activities. You’ll develop lesson plans aligned with state standards, lead experiments and demonstrations, support diverse learners in mastering scientific concepts, and participate in school-wide collaboration. Whether teaching biology, chemistry, or earth sciences, your classroom will be a launchpad for innovation and exploration.
To qualify for this role in Louisiana, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a science-related field
Valid Louisiana teaching certificate with a Science or General Science endorsement
Strong knowledge of content standards and instructional best practices
Must meet district-level background check and fingerprinting requirements
