What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging, standards-based English instruction in areas such as Literature, Writing, Grammar, and Language Arts

• Create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments tailored to student needs

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

• Collaborate with staff and participate in IEPs when applicable

• Promote a focused, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

What You’ll Need

• A valid Louisiana teaching certificate with a high school English/ELA endorsement

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field

• Previous experience in a high school setting preferred

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and fingerprint clearance
