Deliver engaging, standards-based English instruction in areas such as Literature, Writing, Grammar, and Language Arts
Create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments tailored to student needs
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Collaborate with staff and participate in IEPs when applicable
Promote a focused, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
A valid Louisiana teaching certificate with a high school English/ELA endorsement
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
Previous experience in a high school setting preferred
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and fingerprint clearance
