What You’ll Do

• Deliver targeted English language instruction to K–12 students at various proficiency levels

• Support academic language development across subjects

• Develop and implement individualized learning plans based on student needs and language goals

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families

• Monitor and assess language proficiency growth

• Contribute to a culturally inclusive and responsive school environment

• Participate in team meetings and compliance documentation (e.g., EL plans, progress monitoring)

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ESL, TESOL, Education, or a related field

• Valid Louisiana teaching certification with ESL endorsement (or eligibility)

• Previous experience working with English Language Learners preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competency skills
