Blazer Jobs is currently seeking Elementary School General Education Teachers to serve a trusted school district in Harvey, LA. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity for the 2025–2026 school year.

Starting pay is $28 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver grade-level instruction aligned with Louisiana state standards

  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans across core subjects

  • Monitor and assess student progress and development

  • Participate in IEP and parent-teacher meetings

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

Louisiana Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

  • Valid Louisiana teaching certification for elementary grades

  • Previous classroom teaching experience preferred

  • Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening
