Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Louisiana Department of Education Standard Teaching Certificate specific to English Language Arts (ELA)
• ELA teaching experience at the high school level is highly valued
• Solid foundation in general education pedagogy and best practices
• Thorough understanding of curriculum standards and assessment methods
• Ability to pass all required district and agency-level credentialing, including a drug screen and fingerprint background check
• Ready for immediate onboardinglicensure must already be in place
