Key Qualifications:

• Current ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) or ELL (English Language Learners) K-12 certification valid in Missouri
• Experience working within a general education or ESL classroom environment
• Strong familiarity with WIDA ACCESS testing and proficiency scales
• Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and special education staff
• Skill in adapting instruction and materials for varied language levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve approximately 30 students in structured ELL groups, meeting four days each week
• Provide targeted language instruction across all elementary grade levels (K-5)
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers to address learning needs holistically
• Utilize Wednesdays for program management, coaching classroom teachers, and developing instructional strategies
• Monitor student progress, preparing students for successful exit based on WIDA ACCESS assessment criteria
