ESL Teacher
Location: New Orleans, LA

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher to join our educational team in New Orleans, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting English language learners and hold an active Department of Education (DOE) certification.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English language instruction to students of diverse backgrounds

• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual language development needs

• Support language acquisition across listening, speaking, reading, and writing

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support students in both academic and social development

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and participation

• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL, or a related field

• Active Louisiana Department of Education (DOE) certification required

• ESL or ESOL endorsement preferred

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Experience working with multilingual learners preferred

Pay starts at $47/hour and varies depending on experience
