Position: ESL Teacher
Location: New Orleans, LA

We are currently hiring a dedicated and passionate English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our educational team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to empowering English language learners and holds an active certification from the Louisiana Department of Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver dynamic English language instruction to students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds

• Evaluate student progress and tailor lessons to support individual language development

• Foster growth in all areas of language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing

• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote academic and social success

• Maintain detailed records of student performance and attendance

• Engage in ongoing professional development and actively contribute to the school community

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL, or a related field

• Valid Louisiana Department of Education certification (required)

• ESL or ESOL endorsement (preferred)

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Experience working with multilingual learners is highly valued

Compensation & Benefits:
