Position: General Education Teacher
Location: New Orleans, LA

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic General Education Teacher to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will bring strong instructional skills, a commitment to student achievement, and hold an active certification from the Louisiana Department of Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver effective, standards-based lessons across subject areas

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

• Assess student progress regularly and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs

• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to ensure student growth and success

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic performance, and behavior

• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to school initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

• Active Louisiana Department of Education (DOE) certification (required)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Commitment to educational equity and student-centered learning

• Prior teaching experience preferred
