- Pay: Starting at $35/hour

About the Role
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a forward-thinking school district in the New Orleans area to hire a High School General Education Teacher for the 2025–2026 academic year. As a full-time educator, you'll play a vital role in delivering engaging instruction, supporting student success, and collaborating within a supportive school community.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with state standards

• Assess student work and provide feedback for growth

• Participate in student support teams and intervention meetings

• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom culture

• Maintain accurate records and support student development

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

• Valid Louisiana teaching certification (high school level)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Prior teaching experience preferred, but early-career educators are welcome
