Blazer Jobs is now hiring a High School Science Teacher to join a mission-driven school district in the New Orleans area for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, contract opportunity for educators who are passionate about engaging students in scientific discovery and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach high school-level science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science)

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Louisiana standards

• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents to support student success

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Science-related field

• Active Louisiana DOE Teaching Certification (Required)

• TAT not accepted

• Previous high school teaching experience preferred

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
