High School Health & PE Teacher | $40+/hr | near Philadelphia, PA | 20252026 School Year

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Health & Physical Education Teacher to join a dynamic high school team in Chester, just 40 minutes from Philadelphia, for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position focused on student wellness, academic growth, and strong classroom leadership.

Position Details:

• Location: Chester, PA (40 minute drive from Philadelphia, PA)

• Start Date: August 25, 2025

• End Date: June 12, 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

• Hourly Rate: $40+ (based on experience)

• Setting: Onsite, high school

• Interview Type: Zoom

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction in health and physical education to high school students

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Pennsylvania state standards and district objectives

• Use formative assessments and differentiated instruction to support student learning

• Manage classroom behavior and build a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Collaborate with colleagues, staff, and families to support student success

Requirements:

• Valid and active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Health & Physical Education K–12

• Bachelor’s degree (required)

• Prior school-based teaching experience

• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills

• Experience working in urban school settings

• Must be able to complete all PA clearances
