English as a Second Language (ESL/ESOL) Teacher - Portland, IN

Our partner school in the Portland, Indiana area is searching for a full-time, onsite English as a Second Language Teacher (ESOL) for the full school year. We are looking for a hard-working and caring candidate interested in helping our students!

About the Position:

• Full-time / 40 hours per week 
• Current School Year
• Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience
• Caseload details will be shared during the interview process
• Complete all ESOL compliance items and lesson plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers and additional bldg. faculty/staff
• Communicate/collaborate with campus ESOL coordinator

About You:

• Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, or related field
• Must have a IN English as a Second Language (ESOL) K - 12 Endorsement 
• Experience working cross-culturally and/or commitment to work toward improving one’s own cultural competence, i.e., valuing difference/diversity, recognizing personal limitations and one’s skills and expertise, and having the desire to learn in these areas
