Spanish Teacher in Reserve, LA

Inspire students and foster a love for language as a full-time Spanish Teacher at a local high school. You'll be providing in-person instruction throughout the school year, helping learners build proficiency and confidence in Spanish.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Spanish/Foreign Language Educator Certificate with endorsement for high school grade levels.
• Bachelors degree or higher in Education, Spanish, or related field.
• Prior experience teaching Spanish in a school setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for motivating and engaging high school students.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based Spanish instruction to high school students.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum and individual student needs.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to support varying learning styles.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture focused on language acquisition and cultural exploration.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and grades.
• Participate in professional development sessions and faculty meetings, as required.
