Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field required
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements
• Experience designing and implementing engaging, standards-based curriculum
• Demonstrated success planning lessons for middle school students
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Adept at guiding students in technology use and fostering a positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead instruction for 7th and 8th grade technology courses, tailoring lessons to grade-level standards and student abilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver creative, hands-on activities that support technology literacy and problem-solving
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote growth
• Collaborate closely with fellow teachers, staff, and administrators to align instructional strategies and meet school objectives
• Maintain classroom management to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in educational technology
