Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Adams, MA

A fulfilling opportunity is now open for a compassionate and skilled LPN/LVN to provide direct nursing support in a school setting near Adams, MA. This contract position is specially tailored for professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in a student's daily life, supporting their health and well-being throughout the school day.

In this role, youll work 32 hours per week (7:00am to 2:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), focusing one-on-one with a high school female student. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing tube feedings, performing tube flushes and blowouts, and ensuring the students safety and comfort while at school.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

• Current LPN or LVN license in Massachusetts
• Proven experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Capable of performing tube feedings, tube flushes, and blowouts with confidence
• Ability to respond swiftly and calmly in emergency situations
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to providing age-appropriate, dignified care
• CPR certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on nursing care according to the students individualized health plan
• Administer daily tube feeds and perform required flushes/blowouts
• Monitor health status and report changes to appropriate school and medical personnel
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and healthcare professionals
• Document care and maintain accurate health records
