In this contract position, you will serve as a dedicated healthcare provider for a 7th-grade student, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Minnesota LPN license
• Current CPR/AED certification required
• Minimum of two years experience working with pediatric populations, students, or in school/home health settings
• Demonstrated expertise in tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Comfort and ability to ride the school bus to and from home with the student, following the transportation schedule

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous 1:1 care and support to a student with complex medical needs
• Perform thorough trach monitoring and suctioning in accordance with the individualized healthcare plan
• Accurately document care activities, observations, and interventions daily
• Collaborate with the schools Health Services team, teachers, and the students family to deliver coordinated care
• Ensure compliance with all elements of the student-specific healthcare plan at all times
• Help foster a supportive, inclusive environment for the students optimal educational experience
