Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California
• Previous experience working with children in school or pediatric settings is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and guardians
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple student health needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including medication administration, first aid, and emergency response
• Monitor chronic health conditions and support individualized health care plans
• Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families to optimize student health outcomes
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation according to district policies and regulations
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training as part of the LVN pool
