Key Qualifications:

• Current, active LVN license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Proficient in supporting students with medical needs, including tracheostomy care
• Ability to meet time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including district-specific fingerprints and a drug screen
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and professionalism

Role Overview:

• Assigned to Stratford High School, providing continuous support for one stable student with a trach
• Begin the day by meeting and riding the bus with the student at 6:45 am, ensuring safety and comfort during transit
• Accompany the student throughout their school day, attending classes and monitoring for any medical needs
• Monitor trach status and overall student well-being; respond appropriately to any changes in condition
• Follow a consistent schedule, ending the day at approximately 3:30 pm
• Enjoy a 30-minute lunch break during the school day
