Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Farmington, CT

This contract position offers a structured schedule with predetermined Wednesday shifts from now through June. Key Qualifications:

• Active LPN or CNA license in the state of Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in school nursing or as a Certified Nurse Assistant is highly valued
• Professionalism, dependability, and a compassionate approach to pediatric care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with school staff and families

Role Overview:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 care for a medically fragile student during the school day
• Administer medication and monitor health as indicated by the student's care plan
• Assist with daily living needs, mobility, and medical support as appropriate
• Document observations and interventions; communicate regularly with school nursing team
• Ensure student safety and wellbeing across the school day and during transitions

Schedule Details:

• Work Wednesdays only, 7:30 AM 2:30 PM (or until early dismissal at 12:10 PM)
• Coverage on specified dates from September through May
• Onsite interviews when possible for best fit
