Pediatric School Nurse (LPN or RN) - Lansing, KS

We are partnering with a school in the Lansing, Kansas area to find a full-time, school-based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for the full school year. As a school-based LPN, you will support students in grades K - 12th with different health needs.

Position Details:

• Current School Year
• Full-time: up to 40 hours per week
• Specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process. 
• Pay Range: $20 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience and level

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Must have LPN or RN Kansas License/Certification
• Must be CPR and BLS certified
• Must have TB Test results within the last year (or willing to get a TB Test)
• Previous experience with tracheostomy and gastrostomy strongly recommended

General Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated nursing care to students, including monitoring health status, administering medications, and performing medical procedures as prescribed.
• Develop and maintain a healthcare plan in collaboration with the school health team, the student’s family, and healthcare providers.
• Respond to and manage acute medical situations related to the student’s condition.
