BlazerJobs is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 1:1 school-based opportunity in Georgia. This role involves providing direct care to a student with medical needs throughout the school day and during transportation to and from school.

Position Details:

• Must be licensed as an LPN in the state of Georgia

• Prior 1:1 pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred

• Competitive pay and full benefits available

• Virtual advisory team access for ongoing support and resources

• Start time: Nurse must arrive at the student’s home by 6:15 AM

• End time: Typically completes day around 2:45 PM

• Thursdays: Report directly to the school by 10:00 AM to accompany the student home after therapy

Student Needs:

• The student is wheelchair-bound and has a tracheostomy (trach) requiring suctioning throughout the day

• Diapering assistance required during the school day

• Fed via G-tube, with monitoring and support as needed

• Periodic vital signs monitoring, with documentation in a county-provided spreadsheet

District Requirements:

• Three professional reference checks must be completed prior to scheduling interviews
