You'll be working closely with a student and providing dedicated medical assistance throughout the school day, including accompanying them on the bus to and from school.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia
• Prior experience working 1:1 with students or within a school environment highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a safe, caring environment for children and young adults
• Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for bus riding and daily school routines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care to a designated student throughout the school day
• Monitor and assess the student's health needs, administering medications or treatments per care plan
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided and any significant health changes
• Work closely with educational staff and families to support the students overall well-being
• Ensure a safe transport experience by riding the school bus with the assigned student, both mornings and afternoons
• Adhere to all school policies, nursing best practices, and professional ethical standards
