School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Monroe, GA

This contract-based role focuses on delivering 1:1 care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to a single student, ensuring their health needs are met throughout the school day and while riding the bus to and from campus.

This position is in-person, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, starting as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027. You will be a key part of the students educational journeyassisting them, advocating for their well-being, and collaborating with school staff and families.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active GA LPN license required
• Practical experience working 1:1 with students or within an educational setting is highly preferred
• Ability to ride the school bus as needed
• Strong communication, patience, and reliability
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized care to a student throughout the school day
• Administer medications and manage medical needs as prescribed
• Monitor health status and respond to urgent care situations
• Maintain detailed and accurate health records
• Participate in transportation, supporting the student on the bus daily
• Communicate any changes in health needs or concerns with appropriate school staff and families
