What were looking for:

• Current, valid LVN license/certificate
• School-based, pediatric, or child-focused experience preferred
• Comfortable performing 1:1 nursing care, assisting with bus riding, and responding to routine school health needs
• Ability to adapt and communicate effectively within a school environment
• Reliable transportation and a confirmed ability to commute to the district
• Positive, compassionate attitude and dedication to student well-being

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support for students health needs during the school day and potentially while traveling to and from school
• Monitor, administer, and record medications or necessary treatments according to prescribed plans
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to create safe, healthy environments
• Respond to daily health concerns as well as emergency situations as they arise
• Maintain accurate health records and follow all confidentiality requirements
